Dear Members and Prospective Members,
I am excited to announce the launch of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) chapter in Nevada! As the founder of EISC Lab Data Automation, supporting women in STEM has been a cornerstone of my work for over twenty years. Our Nevada chapter represents a significant step in advancing gender equity in STEM across the state.
Nevada’s growing STEM community presents a ripe opportunity for us to make a difference. AWIS Nevada aims to foster connections, offer valuable resources for personal and professional growth, and advocate for gender equality in STEM fields.
Our chapter prioritizes relationships, education, mentorship, and inclusivity. We provide a supportive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can flourish. Through mentorship, educational programs, and engaging events like our upcoming March 5th Open House, we aim to empower our members for success.
Diversity is our strength. With members spanning biotechnology, renewable energy, aerospace, and more, we represent a tapestry of expertise and innovation. We are proud to collaborate with local businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies that share our vision.
I invite you to join us in shaping the future of women in STEM in Nevada. Whether you’re a student, faculty member, industry professional, or passionate supporter, AWIS Nevada welcomes you. Together, let's create a brighter, more inclusive future for women in Nevada's STEM fields.
Excited to work with you all,
Rosemary Brock
